I Finally started

I would like to thank Katherine for helping me get set up with my little operation here. I have cut out 580 hexies from a roll of 22 strips of fabric. I was able to get 20 out of a strip. I am now working on my 1" paper hexies, I think I have about 125 or so. Once I have 520, that will be enough to start making flowers. I have no idea how big this project will be. We shall see. I also wanted to thank Kate and others for their inspiring posts and let you know how darn excited I am. Jeanne

Its such a fun project and I am glad that you have enjoyed the glue pen. Certainly makes it so much quicker. I have been popping papers from the back of mine and they just come out so easy although I will not press it with the iron until its quilted and washed just in case. I hang my rows from the picture rail with a skirt hanger to make sure they don't crush too much. Love the colours you have picked out and cant wait to see a bundle sewn together.
