Finished Rows and some more Hexagon Prep....

I have finished half of my Hexi flowers.....70 in total.....
And I have now cut the other 70........
Now for the big decision of what colours to put
together for the second half of my Hexi Quilt......
These are my first three and a half rows so far.......
And lots of gluing..........I am really loving my glue pen......
Imagine how much slower it would be if I was basting them....
Miss Molly and I are off to Sydney for The State Championships Netball
3 day weekend tomorrow so the Hexi's will be coming
along for in between games and nights in the motel.....
The boys are heading to Maitland for Basketball.....

Until next time, Happy Stitching

Kate

Awesome Kate - it looks fabulous - you should have most of your hexies done over the weekend and good luck to Miss Molly

Looks amazing! I made myself stop hexing at home in the evenings and only have them in the car like intended LOL. But guess what its Friday and I'm doing them tonight instead of knitting. Has anyone else received a copy of issue three yet. I preordered mine but haven't as yet received it. Would love to see the finished result of Leannes quilt. If someone would like to share that page with me my email is macwin@dodo.com.au. I have another very old hexagon quilt which needs finishing and I was hoping to do it this weekend.

Have a great weekend- you really are on a roll with your hexies (wish I could say the same about mine!)- the first half of your quilt looks fabulous with the way you have arranged the colours.

Hi Girls......I have a confession to make.....The Hexies did not come out of the box on the weekend =( It rained for the whole 3 days so they stayed in the car.....I did get some of "My Garden" done in the motel but the Hexies have come to a stand still.....I am planning on working on them over this weekend...Hopefully!
Oh and to answer "Crnchy Diva's question.....The glue is water soluble....not that you can even tell that it is there when the papers come out.....Happy Hexing Girls.....
