Started the Borders....

Last night while I was waiting on a couple of loads of washing
I got busy joining my white border fabric for my Hexagon quilt....
Then after some smoothing and pinning.....
 And more smoothing and pinning.....
I took the papers out of the top edge and pinned
it all down with my tiny applique pins......
All ready to start stitching down.....
I don't know why but I am feeling a bit nervous about doing it....
Until next time, Happy Stitching

Oh and by the way....If you are following this pattern the fabric allowance for the borders is very generous....I will have to trim a lot off later....

I can understand your nerves although I am not there yet. Looking forward to see how you go with this stage. Love your Nancy's by the way.

Your quilt is beautiful. I can see why you get nervous, but somehow it must be exciting too to be this far!

Thanks Kate, for posting such great pictures. I was getting nervous - just of the thought - how to pin it all together. You gave me a solution! :-D ... I still got a little way to go ... but I am getting there!
