My first post here, and in fact ever on a blog!
Wow, I have loved this project. I have never really completed much hand sewing before, so when I first started this I found it daunting, that lasted about the first hour. Now it is pure joy! I always have a clip lock bag with a few flowers ready to sew everywhere I go.
The majority of my fabrics are from the Oh Cherry Oh range from Moda. Here's my pile, I was not sure about the colours when I first started, but have fallen in love with them as the pile grew.
I've already picked out the fabric for the 2nd hexagon quilt, and am eagerly waiting for it to arrive from the US. (Monica Solorio-Snow's new fabric range Happy Mochi Yum Yum) I'm just as addicted to the cutting and gluing , so no doubt I will start on this one as soon as the fabric arrives.

Oh yes making hexies is very additive. LOL
Wow they look great, still stitching mine, they seem to be going on forever (maybe its because I have too many projects on the go) good luck with your second one.
