all done

My daughters quilt is finished,and ready to go to Australia.Nickys partner is in the UK at the moment,and will take it back with him.
I took the picture early morning,and the light caught it a bit. Here is Nickys quilt and my quilt together.
I said I would never make another one,but now my younger daughter Natalie tells me she would like one..... Hope you all had a lovely Easter.Laura xxx

  8. They look fantastic!!! I now know what mine will look like without the stitchery hexagons in between, i am doing mine the same way. Thanks for the inspiration to keep going.

Wow well done, that is great the colours sing and everything looks stunning, thankyou for showing us and I bet you feel great to finish this eh... but golly when we close and finish a project, its like saying goodbye to a friend but this will be such such loved to the lucky person who will get this

  15. This quilt is absolutely fabulous! I am planning to make a similar one this summer. How did you finish it? Did you sew it on to a backing fabric to square it up, or did you use half hexagons around the edges? Gorgeous!!
