I am new to quilting so I was not sure how I would go with the original version and never having hand stitched such a large project before I was a little shy of it so I decided to go for a larger Hexagon first time around.
As you can see I have also squared off my quilt as I think that I will add a wide white boarder and then hand stitch a flower design all the way around.
I also still have two flowers to stitch on every white Hexagon .... I am slowly but surely getting there.
I am thinking that I will give the bigger quilt a go when this one is nearing completion.
Enjoy your day and happy Stitching,
Sharon
