I'm not overly sure about a possible layout. I have sewn the first row together i.e. 2 deep. I'm wondering if I need to do a lot more cream based flowers with coloured centres to break it up a bit. I have plenty of the creams left from the jelly rolls that would quite happily go with the left over coloured hexagons. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
I love it as is Katherine.
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful!!!!
ReplyDeleteAnna
I would be very happy with that - gorgeous. Tracee xx
ReplyDeleteThe colors are lovely and so peaceful!
ReplyDeleteI'm so tempted to join y'all on this stitch-along!
I wouldn't make too many cream ones as you will want the white embroidered Hexis to stand out....... I only used a couple of creams from my jelly rolls for that exact same reason.....It is looking great and the browns really make it pop......Happy Hexing.
ReplyDeleteI love what you have done and would't change a thing. Your color tones are great and it is going to look fantastic when completed.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Kate. I think it is lovely as it is. Don't over think it - we all do hehe.
ReplyDeleteThanks girls I really do appreciate your opinions. Over thinking is probably my problem LOL. I do tend to doubt myself when it comes to patchwork but never the colours in my embroidery or scrapbooking.
ReplyDeleteIt looks excellent - and how - look how many you have done!
ReplyDeleteLOL addicted. I can do a flower in about 20-25 mins
ReplyDeleteSometimes it is good to step back for a while (a day or two) and when you come back you will see how nice your work/colors are. Sometimes too much time spent with a project tends to make you question yourself...your hexies are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteFrom one overthinker to another.... it looks great as it is! Relax and enjoy!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, love all the pastels. Looks fine to me.
