Leanne and Myself have decided to make the 'Hexagon Quilt' in issue 2 and 3 of Leanne Beasley's Vignette magazine after seeing the original in the flesh. Talk about beautiful!
For me, I have decided that I will use only scraps (as I have SO much, but don't hold me to it) and plan to make mine in-between projects if I don't have much hand sewing going on!
Anyone interested in joining us on this journey? If so, please leave us a comment, if you are a no-reply blogger you will need to leave us your email address so we can send you an invite so that you are able to post on this blog. WOW! Sarah and Leanne, you are both going to be busy stitchers :-) Sound like fun count me in ... I will only be doing a table runner, using fabric from my stash!
ReplyDeleteHappy stitching, P
Count me in Sarah Please. Happy Stitching,
ReplyDeleteHaha.... good to see that Perri is on this one too!! I too want to make it out of my stash.
ReplyDeleteWhy not.....thanks Sarah.....
ReplyDeleteYes please. This is also something I can do from scraps and what bits and pieces I havent got packed away. Doesnt take up much space. Hand work is what I am restricted to right now.
ReplyDeleteIm in - Leanne had mentioned it briefly the other day! I will be using my stash too I think :) and it will definately be an in between project.
ReplyDeleteWow. Sounds like fun!
ReplyDeleteOK count me in too I have started anyway as you know (white Jellyrolls)
ReplyDeleteCount me in please. I'm going to be stash diving for this one too. Makes it feel like a 'freebie'.... who am I kidding!
ReplyDeleteI'm tempted-I like your idea of having something to hand stitch in between other projects- what sort of pace would be set in doing it?
ReplyDeleteI've resisted for as long as I can & can do it no more. I want to join in too Sarah. Thanks Tracee xx
ReplyDeleteCount me in too!
ReplyDeleteI will join in using stash fabric. What a great idea to all be doing this together.

Hi, I commented earlier saying I was tempted, well can't resist any longer so can I join in the fun with the rest of you.
ReplyDeleteI've been trying to finish a "grandmother's flower garden" quilt for 10 years. I've started it up again and am working fast and furious on it...I'd love to join you all! I've been posting pictures for the last couple of months on my blog. My fabric is 10 years old so when I finish this one I of course want to make another with all new fabrics...shhhh, don't tell my husband!
ReplyDeleteYes please, I have been looking through my fabrics and would love to join in.
ReplyDeleteHi Sarah, I have joined and loving it, but have a favor to ask - would you be able to put my blog address up (pretty please!!)

ReplyDeleteLike Sue I would like to know if there are intructions etc.
Thanks.

Hi - I would love to join the Vignette Hexagon Quilt group! Please count me in!! Fiona H xx
ReplyDeleteI am tempted too. Well, I don't have the magazine, but I think, I can managed without ;-). I am making hexagone flowers already and find those "put-in-between-hexagons" lovely. They would be just perfect for little quilt.
ReplyDeleteI would love to join and am going to make a scrappy one. As if I need something more to do but cant resist this. It will be nice to have a moving project.
ReplyDeleteI can't resist either! I don't know where I'll get the time. I do enjoy making hexagons, and, of course, like everyone else my stash is there to use. Although I did get some new fat quarters of a few new lines. Thanks, Leanne and Sarah. Sandy
ReplyDeleteI am new to this blog and very excited as I started making hexagons with oriental fabrics a month or so ago. I was moving at a good pace in the beginning. This will help me to stay on task. I hope. Jeanne
ReplyDeleteI would love to be a part of this blog and have lots of hexies that I want to turn into a beautiful quilt :) Thanks hugs Vicki xx

ReplyDeleteI don't know if this blog is still open to adding people, but I would like to join. I need to start a new hexie project to take with me to work this summer and fall. I don't have the pattern but I know how to make hexagons. I can't wait to see what all of you are working on.
ReplyDeleteI would like to join you all on your hexagon quilt journey. I need to do something with the quilt fabric I've been collecting and I think that this is the best way for me to get started on my first quilt.
