Finally an update.

Last night i finally made the last flower in the Vignette hexagon quilt & proceeded to start on the embroidered stepping stones.
My pretty stack of hexies.
flowers in a row
My small start. I'd only traced 15 of the 59 needed for the stones. I think i managed to embroider the leaves on 11 last night. A loooong way to go yet. I'm using Cottage Garden threads for the embroidery rather than Cosmo.

Happy Stitching,

Now there are 10,000 hexagons and for the corners I'm planning another 5000 Hexagons.

Finally finished

Yes, I finally finished the duvet cover for my daughter Carlota. Just in time for the beginning of spring, flowers appeared all over my little girl's bed. Hope you all like it.

A small detail of the quilting, a very simple one.
She just adores it, and for me that's more than enough.

Please help if you can

I have needed to change my email address associated with my blog. http://astitchintime-sue2sew.blogspot.co.nz/ and in the process have had problems.
During the process I changed admin rights and by accident deleted the original admin before the new admin was verified. now I can't access my blog to post. can you help?
Sorry if this isn't the appropriate place but I have been round and round looking for a contact email. I hope someone can help as I am now a follower of my own blog with no access.

Finished sewing hexagons

It's been a long while since I last published. As a matter of fact I was showing you just flowers and now I can show you all my hexagons together. This is going to be a cover for a duvet, so after quilting a little bit I will be adding green fabric on the sides, the same colour as the individual hexagons. Hope you like it. It's going to be for my youngest daughter and she just loves green.
No onto quilting! Next time I show it I hope it's finished.
