Only 23 to go........

I have had a big win on the hexagon front, I am now down to needing only 23 more flowers to then start putting them together.  My hexagon quilt is being made from fabrics used in other quilting projects, my problem now is I have used all the fabric I have so I am now needing to finish projects to create fabrics for this quilt, so it may sit still awhile.

My hexagon quilt has been finished for a while and is now displayed in our entrance hall

So it was time to move onto a new paper piecing project.

It may not look like it but this one is Hexagons

and this is my first block

My Hexie project

Hexagons are my latest endeavour in quilting. I used a creative memories hexagon punch to make hexies from freezer paper.

 I ironed them onto different scrap fabrics.

Cut apart ready for edges to be glued down.

I have a long way to go but this is a very portable project to be taken anywhere to work on.

My garden is growing with 4 flowers last 2 month.

Hi everyone,thought I would update.I now have a good stack of hexis for my daughters quilt.

There are lots of lovely colours.

I now have to have a play around and see how they go together.

Would like to take it with me later in the year when I hopefully go to Australia to visit my daughter.xx

Hi everyone. I realised that I didn't show you my finished garden. So here it is.

more fabric

hi everyone,I had more fabric in the post today.I found a lovely place on line that sell 10inch squares of fabric in packs of 10.Today i had red green orange and blue.Ifound that a 10 in square is just enough for a 2inch hexi flower. So things are coming along nicely,ready to cut them out.I have already done pink purple yellow .
